Our story began with a personal journey of healing and attempting to purge our lives of toxin-filled products and harmful chemicals; followed by a seemingly never-ending quest to replace those items with “natural” options.
The reality of product scarcity, coupled with opaque ingredient lists and the abundance of label greenwashing is overwhelming. The effort needed to find simple ingredient products, continues to be a stressful, paralyzing and a demotivating experience for most.

We decided that HUMANS deserve better—that our bodies deserve better. Humans shouldn’t need a PhD to understand what they consume to live their daily lives. Humans shouldn’t have to accept toxins in their products because the alternative is too expensive to buy or too time consuming to create.
Humans need healthier options and better resources to discern between them, so we became a resource.

The Urban Detox Project, LLC is a clean living boutique, that specializes in the conscious curation and retail of toxin-free goods. All of our products are “optimal health” based, ethically sourced and handmade by local and independent makers (around the U.S.) in small batches.

We carry apothecaries, skin-care, self-care and sustainable home-goods that are free of toxins, harmful chemicals and never tested on animals.
